Shipping & Return Policies

Shipping: 

We ship world wide! If you’re having trouble ordering online, send us an email to shop@vanelja.com and we’ll help you complete your order.

For all shipped orders we send an email that references your tracking number. If you ordered and never received your tracking number, email us and we’ll get you sorted.

Your order gets processed within 1-5 days of placing it. All shipments to Finland will be shipped via Posti or Matkahuolto, normally within a week. For other international orders, your order should arrive within 14 to 21 business days depending on your location.

Digital products will be sent straight to the email you give when placing the order. Check your junk mail if you don’t find them in your inbox. 

Shipping fees:

Shipping fees vary depending on the country and based on the weight of the products you ordered. If you are in need of larger amount of products, contact us directly and we will do our best to source the best shipping method available.

For digital products there are no shipping fees.

Return policies:

Was the goods damaged? Please contact us directly.

You have 14 days to return your product once you receive your order. The product must be unopened with the original seals on the container.

We will refund you within 15 days from the time that we receive your return.

Sale Items

All sale purchases are final and cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or store credit, other than in the event of them being faulty.

Unused, unwanted, exchangeable and uncollected products:

A completely unused product can be returned within 14 days of receiving it. Opened products cannot be returned or exchanged. The product to be returned or exchanged must therefore be completely unopened, unused, in its original condition and in its original packaging. The original labels must be attached to the products and packaging so that a return or product exchange is possible.

The exact contact information of the returner (full name, address, telephone, e-mail, account number) and information about the order related to the returned product must be attached to the return or product exchange.

If the value of the ordered products remains below 70 euros, or if the shipment is returned to our warehouse due to the customer not picking it up, we will charge the customer the postage costs of the original shipment incurred by our company in addition to the return costs. 

When the product return has arrived for inspection by our customer service (usually 72 hours after receiving the product) and has been approved, the money will be returned to the customer within 7 days of issuing the decision, provided that the customer has provided all necessary bank information with IBAN account numbers in connection with the return. Depending on bank connections, the return may take 2–10 days from the acceptance of the product return.

The following information must be attached according to the product return and exchange:

  1. Product(s) being returned
  2. Reason for product return/exchange (product too big, small, etc…)
  3. Exact information about the product for which the returned product is to be exchanged (brand, model and size), or information that the product is to be returned and get a refund
  4. Detailed details of the subscriber: full name, street address, zip code, post office, country, telephone, e-mail address
  5. Accurate bank information: bank, branch, account number (IBAN account number) and, in international orders, SWIFT code

Who will pay the product return costs?

In all shipments, the customer pays the return costs at least initially. If it is a product return due to incorrect manufacturing of the product, made through an accepted complaint, we will refund the postage costs to the customer, if the product is returned in the original packaging in the cheapest possible way. In this case, the postal receipt related to the return must be included in the shipment, because we will not reimburse the postal fees related to the return without this receipt. We also do not redeem cash on delivery shipments and do not replace 1st class priority or door-to-door shipments.

In the case of product exchanges and other returns, when the value of the ordered products remains below 70 euros after the product return, in addition to the return costs, we charge the customer the postage costs of the original shipment incurred by our company.

Non-refundable:

All ebooks are instant digital downloads. These cannot be returned which is why we cannot offer refunds.

All signed books with dedications are non-refundable.

All opened or used products or products without original stickers or labels are non-refundable.
