GINGER ALE EXTRACT
Thick, about 15 cm piece of fresh ginger
6 dl of water
4 tablespoons of organic honey
Peel the ginger, chop it up and put the pieces into a blender. Add water and honey. Blend in full speed for about 30 seconds. Pour the mixture into a sealable glass jar and let it sit in the refrigerator for a day. Pour the mixture in a blender and mix again. Strain and take the pulp out, for example using a filter fabric. Keep the ginger ale extract in a closed glass jar or bottle in the refrigerator and use to spice up your drinks. Shake before each use. Use within a couple of weeks or pour the mixture into an ice cube tray, freeze and use the ice cubes in your drinks.
